Amatis joined in the alpha's howl, unsure whether it was Fell or Reesa she was howling with. It was basic instinct that told her that howling was the right thing. She sank to the ground next to Yuzu, wondering what had happened.

Fea sat, her tail twitching, "well she didn't. Go tell her that! You're her Beta!" she barked, angry now. Then she rose, "go see why she's howling now too." she ordered him, a stern frown on her muzzle.

Reesa walked out into the camp and stopped, everyone examined her as if they were looking for something, the pleading eyes of the wolves without a keener sense of of hearing "Pack of Green Wood, you will be lead by Convel and Feather until I am out of the nursery. Fell has joined the valley of the stars we will mour over his death without body... Yuzu... Vince will teach you as much as he can about sentinels" Reesa slowly walked back to her den and read the words "R E E S A" she gave four tears and left the den and went tot the nursery.

Convel couldn't keep his eye from twitching. Had he heard right? Leading? "Uhhhhmmmmm?" the male said, the smartest sounding response in history.

Feather snapped from her anger, rushing to Ree to comfort her until the alphess disappeared into her den. Fea turned to Convel, seething again. "Leading, you have a lot of work to do before you lead the pack. You have to fix things with your wife first of all." she growled, stalking past him and onto the rock. "We will mourn for Fell tonight, he was a good wolf and shall be remembered." she called over the pack, then walked slowly from the rock and over to her pups. "Your father makes me crazy sometimes," she snorted.

Reesa tried to sleep but she had grown use to the scent and warmth of another. It was dark now and she went crept quietly back to the alpha den and tried to imagine Fell was still with her. Once she decided this wasn't doing anything she went back to the nursery. 'I still have Fell inside' she thought as she licked her tummy twice. In the end Ree had gone for seven walks, two drinks, one hunt, visited the graveyard and switched dens a total of eleven times with no sleep all night. In the morning Reesa found Feather "Do you have anything to let me sleep easier?" She yawned.

Feather smiled, "of course I do, Ree," she said, passing her friend some poppy seeds, "here, eat them and come sleep next to me," she suggested calmly, wrapping her tail around Ree and sighing. "We all miss him, but not like you. If I lost Convel, I don't know what I would do."

Vince rushed into camp, hearing the howl and following Kana. "Kana, are you alright?" he asked, but she disappeared into her den before she coud hear him. He instead walked over to the nursery, finding Feather asleep and Reesa there, awake. "Ordareesa, you aren't heavily pregnant, and I know it's dark, bu would you like to go on a walk with me, to get your mind off things?"he asked,a kind note in his voice. The male didn't know what he was doing, but he knew that Ree was pretty, and she needed a friend right now. So he waited patiently for an answer.

'If you lost Convel...' Ree thought about it for a second 'What would happen if I lost Convel?' Just the thought made her cringe more then she did when she saw Fell slip off the edge. Vince came in and suggested a walk, "Okay..." She stood up slowly moving Fae's tail off "I'll be back in abit" Reesa whispered to the ginger fae. "Thanks Vince..." The new queen smiled as they walked out of the den leaving Feather behind.

Vince smiled back, leaving camp with Reesa, "anything," he whispered. He looked at the white female, she had just lost her mate, yet she was being so strong. "Look at the moon, it's a perfect claw," he murmured.

Reesa looked at the glowing moon, "It's so beautiful..." Ree thought how he said 'Claw' "Even beautiful things have an ugly side..." She looked over at Vince "Was there something you wanted to talk about? Or just a walk?" She asked curiously, it seemed kinda weird to ask the alpha on a walk unless they had private things to talk about. Either way, Reesa was happy he asked her.

Vince looked at Reesa, his eyes strong and his smile soft. "Just thought you might want a break from Alpha Duty," he said calmly. He wouldn't give pity to his alpha female, that would make her feel weak. "Just a break," he repeated in a whisper.

Reesa nodded slightly, she tried to think of Fell. If she could even get his name in her head she would now she grieved for the brute. But she didn't. The only thing she thought was, what a beautiful night and how kind it was for Vince to take her here.

(Kana! This is what we have been waiting for XD)

Reesa turned and looked at Vince "Vince it is very swee-" *BOOM* then *CRACK* the ground seemed to shake (Not a earthquake) lightning pierced threw the night sky setting fire to the forest "AHHH" She screamed the dark forest crackling. The already dry woods easily burning. Reesa ran as fast as she could "CONVEL! GET THE APPRENTICES! VINCE HELP FEATHER AND THE PUPS! NOW" She shoved him across to the nursery "KANA! COUNT TO MAKE SURE WE HAVE EVERYONE. LOOK FOR THE YOUNGSTERS FIRST! KIMBA! KANA FIND KIMBA! FELL FIND- VINCE HURRY UP! I WILL BE THE LAST OUT OF CAMP! I WILL DO A DEN CHECK AFTER!!!! GO NOW" The alphess screamed. The fire was getting closer and smoke was starting to fill the clearing. The fire was closing in on the camp *AHHH* a high pitched squeal came from the direction of the fire, in the fire. Reesa could hear who it was, there was no way her nephew would die! Just no way! Reesa tried to look for a way in "YUZU" She cried terrified. Reesa tried to jump threw and when she saw the swollen, fur lit she tried to grab him but when she got close the apprenticed jumped up and pushed her out of the flames leaving a black burned paw print on her shoulder "NO!!!" She screamed louder then the thunder and forest fire "Save the pack... tell Mattie I love her..." Reesa tears evaporated before coming out. Ree had to save the pack before more of this could happen.

Kana raced out of the den fire was every were she could see. Memories flashed before her eyes. "No...." but her voice was lost among the crackling flames. "KIMBA!!!" she screeched, there was nothing. She checked the dens near the hunter den. "No ones hear!" she cried over her shoulder. She raced into the nursery, "Feather come on," she looked down at the pups and picked one of them up by it's scruff. Here eyes burned. "Grab and go!" she said through a mouthful of fur. She shook the ash from her pelt. and Found Vince. She dropped the pup in front of him. "Take her and run," she instructed before disappearing back into the den.

'No. No. No, no, no, no. This is not happening. Wake up. Wake up, damnit!!", the grey wolf stood corpse still, frozen in shock. He had lost his father to the flames. His siblings to the flames. His mentor to the flames. His love to the flames. This could not be happening.

"Tipa! Move and run!", the brute shouted. He ran to the healer's den and grabbed Amatis by the scruff, placing her at the first safest place he could. "Tell whoever you find first I have gone back in. Don't come after me. Find one of the pack, or wait for them. I have to go back in.", with that, the male licked his apprentice's forehead, and stumbled back into the heated den area.

Flames were beginning to lick at the sides of camp. Convel had to keep moving, find one of his pups, or Feather or Kana. Kana was too young, had gone through too much. She should have been one of the first to get to safety.

However, Convel was beta. This was his pack to protect.

He walked into the nursery, running around and screaming wouldn't save his family. The male saw the golden pup had been saved already. Four left. Convel picked up Keli and Taima as gently as he could, and ran with them to where he had left Amatis.

He hadn't been gone long, maybe she would still be there.

Convel didn't get a chance to see.

A cracking sound was heard just before he got to the slightly safe place, and a large branch came crashing down, falling on the brute's leg, and he was pulled down by his hind leg with a loud yelp.

He was trained for bites. He was trained for claws. Not for flames, hissing and spitting as they devoured Convel's legs, attempting to do it's best to disintegrate the flesh.

He dropped the pups, and whined out a command to them. "Run,".

Convel gave a bark, hoping it would be heard, before the smoke began Taki g control, and he blacked out.

(He isn't dead, but severely burned and cut on his thigh, and his throat will hurt for a while. He isn't breathing strongly, so it is possible to mistake him as dead for a moment, if you are into that thing. He will stay unconscious for a while...)

Vince raced back to camp after Reesa, he rushed the two remaining pups out and then went back, tripping over a lump of grey fur. "I hate you so mcuh, but I have to do this." he growled, pulling Convel from the fallen log and out of the camp. "Kana! Kana where are you?! Reesa! Feather!" he saw the flash of orange fur as Feather swooped down and grabbed her pups, running to the side of the camp, to safety. He pulled Covnel after her.

For the past few days Grinch had been quitely nursing his leg and "borrowing" herbs from the healer den so when he left this god forsaken pack he would be in good supply. He didn't care that that the fellow named Feel maybe it was Fell killed himself but he did care that a fire had started in the den. He limped out as fastly as possible "How the hell does a fire even start in a den? I bet it was one of those demon spawn pups."

Reesa stood there in shock, she looked around a full three sixty, thus was her home, her pack.... the flames felt cold and the few seconds that she stared off into the spitting fire it felt as if she had been frozen in place for hours. 'Why?' She felt like giving up and dropping dead right them, but she gave one last look and saw Feather (You said He then her....) hulling Convel from the flames. Just that gave her the boost to snap out of it. Pups were safe, Apprentices were too... except Yuzuki. 'Kana over there... Vince, Feather, Grinch... haven't seen him in awhile... ' Reesa looked at the brute as he seemed to be mumbling something, even thought they were only a few meters away she couldn't hear what he said. Really it didn't matter, Ree had more important things to deal with 'Wha? Kana can't,find Kim!' Reesa checked all the dens with no sight of him.

Kimba hauled himself from the fire "I s-saw Y-Yu-Yuzu... b-but when I-I got-t t-o him he was already..." Kimba's entire side was swollen, red and fleshy. Kim coughed up something, maybe blood, he couldn't tell. The shaman opened his eyes wide and saw the small wolf spirit climbing up the fire towards the sky where the other wolf spirits from this pack greeted him. 'I will join you soon...' he thought dimly.

Reesa knew Kim needed medical attention right away. The ivory fae did her best to carry him out, Ree walked threw the flamey maze "Keep it together!" She hissed. Once she and Kim were safe from the fire she saw that this was about where everyone gathered. "We all out!" She coughed some smoke Reesa looked back at the camp and saw the roaring flames wash over the dens "Why?" She cried.

Tears poured down Kana's face as she watched the camp burn. "Im... sorry," she whispered as visions of her past flash before her eyes. She found Reesa "We have to move farther away," she said holding back the tears, "Fire doesn't stop unless rain come.... no rain will come. Unless we want to burn hear we must keep moving," Kana spoke from her own experience.

Reesa had seen fores fires before, they usually wen out with some rain and she had always been far away. "Okay... It was set off with lightning... this thunderstorm might bring some rain soon..." She said stiffly as she looked down at Kim who was tugging at her leg slightly "Fe-Feather can you help Kimba? He is severely burned and desperately needs medical attention... Grinch could you possibly help?" She asked, he was a healer and been with the pack for a bit so it only seemed right. "Convel, Feather must tend to wounds, you and Amatis will stay with the pups. Kana, mind you help Feather with herbs or whatever she may need assistance in. Tipa make sure no one falls behind." Reesa didn't know where to go besides forward and away from the fire.
