The black pup smiled grimly. "Ok." he said, before rubbing the herb onto the dead wolf's coat, unfazed by the fact that it was now a corpse. His father would have been quite scared to touch a dead wolf, despite if he was the killer.

"Mama? Did father ever kill anyone? Besides Kim, I mean?" Zay asked.

Feather sighed, placing her paw over Zay's to stop him from rubbing. "Your father killed no wolf other than the evil pack's. Convel on the other hand, killed Kimba in cold blood." her face hardened and the love for her old mate drained from her eyes a little bit. "He is a murderer." she whispered.

"Was he friends with anyone in the pack?" all Zay had ever seen were the wolves muttering about him being beta and him and Vince fighting.

"Me and Reesa, I'm not sure about the others. He didn't seem to get along with males very well. I know he liked Amatis, and Kana is his sister, that's why he doesn't like Vince. That and Vincent enjoys badmouthing him." Feather chuckled at the two of them bickering. "And he loved you, the first time he saw you, he was so pleased." she nuzzled her son. "But he can't compare to me."

Feather looked at her pup. "If I saw him again, I would hide, or kill him." she whispered. "But yes. I love your father. Not Convel." she said, then began rubbing thyme into Kimba's fur again.

Kana watched Feather prepare Kimba's body. She felt completely useless. she looked around for Vince but couldn't fine him. Lying down she rested her head on her paws. 'I wonder how Convle is...' she muttered. She was scared fro her brother. Even if he was crazy he killed in cold blood. He was a murderer.

Vince trotted over to Kana. "What I wanted to talk about," he said softly, "was that," he faltered, "if ever our pups got into a fire like that. I would get them out alive before I saved myself." Vince had brought up having pups, but discretely. He wanted them so badly, but he didn't know how to tell Kana.

By the way I'm going to chance Kana's age os she is a bit older so she can have pups anytime)))
Kana sighed, "I would do the same..." she laughed a bit. "Pups there's so many now," she smiled not knowing how to say it. She stood off and shook off her tan pelt. 'I can do this!' she tolled her self. She turned to Vince. "Vince I want pups... if you don't I understand.... if your not ready thats ok too. I just though I'd let you know so when you are ready you could tell me..." SHe looked at her paw flustered and embarrassed.

Reesa could just barely hear Feather and her pups bickering about Convel 'Convel ended his suffering, he isn't a murderer he is not a murderer' she reapeted to herself. If Convel came back 'If? When... he comes back' she essured herself. When Convel came back she would except him for the pack's beta no matter what the others thought. Ree let out aloud whimper that she soon after covered with a fake cough of smoke 'Igot to be strong! And I am still the alpha around here no time for this!'

Amatis wandered out of the cave, her head buzzing. She started to run, wanting something to occupy her mind. She stopped beside a huge tree, and waited. A rabbit twitched on the other side of the clearing. She snapped its neck and waited....

Grinch was rather frightend when he heard a couple talking about more pups "More?! We are almost drowning in them!" he then noticed that he said that out loud "Erm no offense." he said looking down at the ground a bit embarrassed.

Reesa heard Grinch's annoucement, 'Especially with mine on the way... mine... I almost forgot about them' Ree sighed then diecided to lay down for abit. Everyone justhad to wait untill the smoke had been fully exhaled from their lungs and calm down from the shock. After a funeral for Kimba they would continue on their way.

Kana laughed. Not for embarrassment at all just cause she needed to laugh. "Yah, I know.... it just an idea...." she said laughing still. She missed the days of happiness. What had happened to them? She sighed tearing up from laughing so hard. It really wasn't all that funny. She lay down and rested her head. She really did miss the days when she could just walk through the forest and think 'Isn't today the most beautiful day!' but now every thing seemed dark and full of despair. "Will things get better?" she muttered. "I don't think so..."

Vince smiled, rushing to nuzzle Kana. "I love you. I want pups. I love you more. I want you to be happy. I want us to be together forever. I want you to be mine. I love you. We are going to have pups." he rambled at a whisper.

Kana smiled and licked Vince. "We can have pups. Some day, but not know. There are many and many have yet to come. When their older." It saddened her to say no, but she hoped he'd get it. There were just so many of the little fur balls. "I love you too," she whispered. "More then you would know..."

Amatis sat, thinking. A lot had happened today, but life would go on. She caught another rabbit and brought them into the den. "Is anyone hungry?" She asked, her voice still somewhat raspy from the smoke. "Er, Reesa?" She asked, somewhat nervously, and put down the rabbits. "Two rabbits isn't going to feed the pack and everyone else seems busy. Can you hunt with me?"

Feather licked Zay once and trotted over to Amatis, her voice was quiet when she spoke. "Let's leave Reesa be, Amatis. I will hunt with you, alright?" just as Feather finished speaking Taima trotted into the clearing with a mouthful of leaves. "Tai, rub them into his fur and groom him so he looks asleep," she ordered with a motherly firmness, then turned abck to Amatis. "Let's go, sweetheart." she smiled.

"Okay," Amatis replied. She strongly objected to being called sweetheart, but sensed that now was not the time to argue. "Should we be looking for deer, or goat, or something smaller?"

Fea looked at Amatis, her size was nearly the same as Feather herself. "We will go for a female deer or a goat, hopefully goat." she responded with a smile.

Reesa completely ignored Amatis as Feather took her away. Reesa walked over to Kimba's souless body "Need help?" she asked Taima.

"Umm... sure. We have to rub in the herbs Mum and I got." Zaylex said.
After a short period of silence, he asked, "You're the one who made father beta... I know the others didn't want him as beta... why did you give him that rank.
