kana looked at koda, no one ever asked how she was. "Im just taking Wynds death badly," She said looking into koda's dark brown eyes. "And i haven't seen my brother in months and he barely even knows i exists," she sighed, "well i guess i shouldn't be shocked. Back at my own pack we barely even talked to each other and then the fire came..." kana stopped she couldn't bring her self to say any more. A shiney tear drop slid from her eye and down her cheek. She looked over at koda and leaned her head on him. Her ear pressed against his side. She could her the gentle pounding of his heart. The calm rhythm sooted her at she rested there for a bit.

the gulible and totally derp pup rushed as fast as he could over to the bush but when he found nothing he walked back to where kana sat." kana" he tried to wisper just loud enough for koda to hear." i think romeo over he has lost his marbles there was nothing over there. i dont think you should hang out with him anymore he could try to steal your marbles to replace all the ones he lots." he glared at koda again " and as for you only kana calls me zuzu! you call me yuki or yuzuki from now on alrght." he was very proud to be telling off such a big brute( full grown i mean).

kana lifted her head from koda's side. "ok, zuzu," She said smiling and looking at koda. "i'll be careful but right now he's ok. I'll call you if i need you," she looked at the small pup and smiled these two really did know how to cheer some one up.

"I'm sorry, but I think you're a little out of his league," Koda whispered to Kana, "you know, I met a very pretty fae once, was very sad though, and a little black pup wouldn't leave her alone," he said, just loud enough for Yuzuki to hear, and then he did the most apprentice-like thing he could think of, "ZUZU go try to catch ME AND KANA a big hare so that HER AND I can have some food, ok?" he wanted the pup to leave and the jabbering wasn't helping him with Kana.

kana smiled and whispered so only koda could hear, "i now but he cute and i don't want to brake hi cut little heart, he'll gorw out of it," She looked over at koda then a yuzuki. "Zuzu," she said sweetly, "Im hungry do you mind getting me a nice big rabbit for a snack," She secretly did want the pup to leave but she didn't want to be mean.

Just to annoy him, Koda winked at the pup and shuffled a little closer to Kana, he liked Yuki, he just liked bugging him more.

"Ummm, i don't know. I was alpha in my last pack, but I could be lead warrior, if you don't already have one." He said, trying to sound as sweet as she had. 'I wouldn't mind alpha either, though," He added under his breath. But however much he wanted to stay with this pack, he needed to find Syan before he could join. "You said you were having some problems with another pack, I could help you with them!" He offered. Syan had probably already found her own pack, so fighting her without a pack of his own would be suicidal- but on the other hand it probably would be anyways.

"That would be a great help, Thank you" If Reesa hadn't known better she would've thought he said he wouldn't mind being alpha, that would imply him being her mate! The thought made her quite happy though she thought it was more likely for him to like one of the other faes in the pack.

"That would be a great help, Thank you" Fell smiled. "Great! What can I do? There's not much food, I'll go hunt, if you want!" He spun around, scanning the camp for something to do. He turned back to Reesa, to wait for her to tell him what to do and- tripped over his paws and face-planted. 'Oh shit, that's embarrassing.' He thought. 'Oh well, she can tell me what she needs done from the ground. Maybe it'll seem like I did it on purpose!' He thought.

kana smiled at the pup just as her stomach let out a laud growl. 'that was embarrassing,' kana thought trying to hide behind her gentle smile. "Looks like im a lot hungrier then i thought," she said through anxious giggles.

The mind boggaling pup was stalking a medium sized hare when it noticed his loud foot steps and began to hop away. Yuki chased after it running as fast as he could, barely keeping up with the fat hare. He was finally catching up with the fat old beast, with a single pounce he had it in his jaws. It was squirming like a fish out of water but he held on, shaking it back and forth as fast as he could. When it final stopped thrashing he dropped it on the ground *Cracsh* the small limped body died. Zuzu began to paw at it to insure thye death. Yuki had never killed anything before, he was proud but had still felt bad for the poor animal. He finally looked up and realized he had chased that hare for almost half an hour and he had no idea where he was. The mini brute yelped trying to call for help "FEATHER!!!! KANA!!!! REEEEEESSSSAAAA!!!!! Koda?" but his voice was to small and weak for anyone to here. He picked up the limp animal in his tiny little jaws and began to walk. He had no idea where he was going or if he was going in the right direction.

"Yuzuki has been gone a while," Koda stated to Kana, "I think I even fell asleep at one point, shuold we go look for him, or do you think he's fine?" the brute asked the fae gently, he didn't want to make her cry again.

Koda put his nose to the ground, following the fae, "he caught a hare here," he said, pointing at the black fur mixed with that of a rabbit on a bush, yet the scent kept going, Takoda didn't want to wait, "Yuzuki!" he howled, hoping to get a response, though one never came.

Takoda saw the apprentice fae run away, 'was it something I said?' he thought, before taking off after her, he slowed to a trot next to her and scented the air, "we're close," he paused, "YUZUKI!" he shouted, he tracked him down and found another tuft of hair. The brute relaxed, this was fresh, the pup was fine, he looked at Kana for less than on second, "you're beautiful." he whispered, not sure if she had heard him, he turned and began looking for more traces of the pup.

kana stopped her heart fluttered in her chest. 'did he just call me beautiful?' She smiled and turned to koda. "your not so bad your self," she said with a confident smile. She bent to the ground and kept looking for yuki. His sent was strong and that ment he was close and un harmed.

Convel's eyes widened slightly and he held back a leap, as it would wake the female softly sleeping with her head on his shoulder. The brute gently, slowly leaned down, so that she was laying next to him on the ground. "The same to you," he whispered to the dozing female before laying his head on his paws, focusing on the stars of the night.

Feather woke with a jolt, the moon still high in the empty land of the stars, her eyes widened at the brute sleeping next to her, "good night Convel, sweet dreams." she ignored the scent of rain and went back to dreaming about running and playing in meadows with the grey male, her dream turned bad when she fell into a river of fast-flowing water and couldn't get to any air, her eyes opened wide with fear when she leaped into the air, hyperventilating, "OK, just a dream, it was just a dream." she calmed herself quietly, still hardly breathing.

"Er... Thanks," Koda said hastily, looking down, wanting to change the subject, he said, "I hope Zuzu caught us a big rabbit, not just a little dinky one." jumping up on his hind legs he howled into the night, "YUZUKI COME OUT!"

Convel woke when Feather did. He sat up neck to her, and softly licked her shoulder, trying to comfort. "Bad dream?" the ashy male asked. He, for himself, didn't have the best time sleeping either. His dream had been with fire, but with his mentor, the was Feather. Too much heat and smoke. But Convel woke to the unmistakable scent of Fea- herbs and berries. It was a nice scent; fresh. He was brought back to real life as he felt the drip of rain on his back.
