Kana rolled her eyes, "Sure, cause a pup can be a spy," she laughed. She turned back to the pup and asked again in a clam voice, "Hello, he didn't mean to scare you do you need some were to stay?"

"Maybe she doesn't want a mother! Maybe she doesn't need a father!" Feather mimmicked her mate. "Maybe this, maybe that! Maybe maybe maybe!" she screeched. Feather barreled out of the den and ran to the stream by the camp, shoved her face under and yelled, not words, just noise. The healer took another big breath and repeated, over and over and over.

He heard his mate yell something back and flattened his ears in embarrassment. He hadn't wanted to make her upset, just tried to reason with her. "...Kana... about the whole 'pups aren't dangerous thing, can I talk with you?"

Fea took another gulp of air and dove into the river. She yelped at the icy pricks that went up her legs. Cold, muddy water was flowing all around her and she didn't like it one bit. Feather began swimming slowly against the current. She had nearly made it to the corner where it grew shallow when her paws slipped on pebbles. "Damnit." she said, she knew that her pad was cut. Feather dragged herself out of the stream, shook the droplets of mud and debris from her pelt, walked back over to her den and sighed. "If only you were awake." she looked at the nursery and let tears fall. "if only, if only." and she fell asleep.

Koda rose and dragged himself to the edge of the nearby river. The brute leaned over to get a drink and lapped up a few gulps. 'Why do I feel so gross?' he asked himself, not opening his eyes. Takoda turned and took a step but didn't hit land, instead he sank, down. 'Oh look. I can swim.' he thought. Koda was underwater, he had no breath in his lungs and darkness was seeping into his mind, he didn't care. "Bye bye Feather. Tell Kana I love her." he mumbled, then he became lodged between two rocks and never broke the surface of the river.

"Ermmm... let's just say me plus a cigar on the ground equals a huge fire that destroys our lives..", he said, bracing for a slap pr a bite or her yelling at him.

"You started the fire..." Kana mumbled her eye wide open. She wanted to yell at him, she wanted to show him all the pain she felt while she was alone. But she couldn't, she felt week against her brother just like how she felt with her father. Kana took in a deep breath and finally said, "Why did yo tell me before?" There wasn't the slightest bit of anger in her voice, only curiosity.

Kana stopped, "I wouldn't turn away... sure i'd be sad but I would never act like dad," she said dad as though it was a poison that need to be removed immediately. "Why did dad truly leave, I know it had something to do with me," she said recalling the dream she had a few days a go.

Kana stopped her eyes widened in terror, "so he was right," the muttered, "It is my fault all my.... fault," Kana began shaking. 'its my fault my fault my fault. all me...' she tolled her self.

Kana completely blocked out her brother, "Mothers death is my fault," she continued to shake. "How can you live with me!" she screeched, "HOW! I KILLED MOM SHE'S DEAD BECAUSE OF ME!!" Kana fell into a little pile. "I new it was my fault, "she sniffled, "I just knew it,"

Amatis heard the shouting and backed away, scared. The fae'd seemed nice... how could she be a murderer? She turned and bolted, not caring where she was going. She ran into a small clearing and tripped, actually tripped this time, over a pair of wolves. One was a white fae, the other a black brute. "Errrr," She said, not sure how to apologize for that.

Feather heard a soft splash and a thud. 'Probably just a fish and one of the wolves falling over. Nothing to worry about,' she told herself, not bothering to open her eyes. Feather felt her belly twitch and her eyes flung open. "I'm pregnant. Oh my god." she blurted to no one. Fea looked around the medicine den. "Something's missing... Koda!" she screamed. The healer burst out of her den with bristling fur and a stiff tail, her paws slightly spread apart. "Oh no... What am I gonna tell Kana? Who's gonna learn how to heal? I need a healer for when they're born! Koda! Why'd you eat them Koda?" she broke down whimpering in the center of the clearing. "Why... Why him? Why not me?" was all she could say.

(It sucks because its 4:51 AM and I'm bored.)

"C'mon, sis. You didn't kill anyone. Let's go back to camp..." he said, taking the pup. He looked around and set the pup down. He noticed his mate was gone. Suddenly worried, the male leapt out of the den area, hearing her voice. "-Why not me?" Convel snarled at the words, resting his tail lightly on her back. "Because, if you weren't around, then I would end up killing myself, then Kana would because we were both gone, then Takoda because Kana was gone, then Ordareesa would because her packmates were gone, then Fell would, and then the leftovers would all struggle, but because it would be all second-generations, pups, they would all end up dead. And so ends the pack. That is why, it isn't you who is dead." Convel stated, although it was true that he probably would've ended up killing himself.

"Kana, Kana... WHAT AM I GONNA TELL HER! HE LOVED HER!" Feathers ears were ringing from thrashing about. Fea ate some thyme and looked around. "Kana..." a tear fell from Feathers eye. "I'm sorry dear. I really am." she whimpered. "Convel, come to bed with me now please." the crimson fae didn't lift her eyes but smelled a new pup, "welcome to the pack, I'm Feather, your healer." she mumbled and half dragged, half pushed herself to the nursery.

Kana was now confused, 'if she didn't kill her mother who did? Was Koda really dead? Why would feather want to be dead? And above all, Who's the pup?' the thoughts rattled in kana's brain. She couldn't focus on one for a long period of time. 'what the heck is going on,' she thought. She took a deep breath and tried to organize her thoughts, "I didn't kill mom she just... died, Feather is just talking nonsense, I will meet the pup later.' Kana actually felt very clam right then. Of coarse the last thought had to ruin it, 'Was Koda dead... NO!' Kana tolled herself, 'he's still lying in the healers den, a sleep. ' Kana shook her self out then walked to the healers den. She poked her head in and saw to her horror, nothing. "No," Kana whispered backing up, "It can be he's not dead!" she practically screamed and bolted into the apprentice den. She crawled into her little corner, "He's not dead," she mutter, "He's just gone for a walk," Kana couldn't let herself believe, she just wouldn't.(Convle i got this from you) Kana found a sharp rock and cut her pad with it. With her own blood she drew a sloppy heart on the wall and filled it with to symbols (KK). "He's not dead," she whimpered curling up into a boll and falling a sleep.

He continued licking her neck, before mentioning, "It's ok to sleep. I'll be here, Kana will, Ordareesa, and the pups. We'll all be here. No need to stay up if you are tired.", Convel was going to keep this promise, it would be something that would happen. He had left out Fell only because he still disliked the male. Call it what you will, simple distrust, instinct, or a need to protect his family, Convel rather hated Fell. Even Takoda, who he disliked to some degree, he held respect for for standing up to the loners. But then when Convel remembered that Koda broke his sister's heart in a moment of pure idiocy, Convel lost all respect. So... Koda and Fell were at the same level of hatred, Felt for... being Fell, and Koda for breaking Kana's heart. Yippee.
